Senior Advisor

Alecta Advisors in Malta is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Advisor to join their team on a full/part-time basis.

Job Role:
The chosen candidate will be part of the advisory team in a senior position.

We have vacancies in various positions in a number of roles. The selected candidate will be involved in several client projects including business planning, business valuations, internal audits, feasibility studies, and financial due diligence.
Experience in corporate finance or in a financial advisory role is considered an asset.

Requirements:

• Must have a good command of MS Excel and financial modelling and be willing to learn, develop professionally and commit to delivering high-quality work within agreed timeframes
• Qualifying candidates must have partially completed an accounting or business-related degree. Candidates who are presently pursuing an ACCA qualification are eligible for the position
• Candidates must demonstrate that they are capable of working on their own initiative. This position offers the candidate excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

Responsibilities will include:

• Build financial projections for financing or listing on the Malta Stock Exchange
• Carry out detailed financial analysis and compile financial due diligence reports
• Compute values and report business values
• Assist in internal audit risk assessments
• Carry out feasibility studies for new projects
• Writing up business plans
• Involvement in internal audits or lead internal audit work
• Assist clients in succession planning
• Review client processes and procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
