KYC Officer

Our client operates in the financial services sector.  They would like to engage a KYC officer to join their growing compliance team

The Role

• You will review and assess new and existent customer information, using various sources to verify the information
• You will vet the process of client onboarding
• Conduct remediation activity on existing customer information
• Perform the required KYC screening on existing clients by documenting and corroborating the information obtained on the client, as required by the KYC procedures
• Handle KYC-related issues within the respective agreed timeframes
• You will highlight any KYC-related issues as appropriate and drive actions to address them
• You will providing progress updates and reports as required by the MLRO
• You will actively participate in initiatives to develop and enhance controls and efficiency around KYC processes

• Preferably have previous experience in a similar role
• Preferably know AML and CDD regulations
• Be a good communicator
• Have an eye for detail

• Preferably have a related qualification
• Have strong IT skills
