KYC / CDD Analyst (Fixed term contract)

Our client within the Financial Services Industry is looking to recruit a KYC/CDD Analyst to join their team on a fixed term contract.

Main responsibilities :

• Perform regular KYC and CDD reviews for existing clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Coordinate with clients and financial advisors to obtain necessary information and documentation.
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high-risk clients, including politically exposed persons (PEPs) and entities in high-risk jurisdictions.
• Analyze and verify client data, including source of wealth and source of funds, while performing necessary screening checks.
• Identify, assess, and escalate potential financial crime risks or red flags.
• Maintain and update CDD/EDD documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare and manage management information (MI) reports.
• Perform client screening against sanctions lists, watchlists, and adverse media sources.
• Evaluate potential matches, document findings, and escalate concerns as necessary.
• Assist in reviewing and resolving screening alerts and addressing false positives.

• 2+ years of experience in an AML-related role within banking, financial services, or fintech
• In-depth knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and local compliance requirements.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
