Our client, a Corporate Services provider, is looking to recruit a Compliance & Risk Management Officer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Follow regulatory updates, and implement changes in company's policies and procedures and AML manual
Evaluate and make suggestions for correction of internal controls in line with the regulatory framework applicable
Compile reports, data and other information as required by regulatory authorities from time to time
Prepare relevant in house documents and internal procedures
Design and implement the Risk Management tools, systems and processes
Collect, evaluate and weigh risk info and maintain the Risk Register of the Company
Identify controls, mitigation techniques and strategies for the risks of the company
Prepare required risk reporting for the board of directors and maintain proper records
Ensure the company satisfies it's authorization requirements in terms of the CSP Act and assess the possible impact of any changes in the legal environment of the company's operations
Monitor compliance and identify any breaches and escalate them to the Board of Directors
Maintain training records for relevant persons
Provide training on regulatory matters to staff and management as necessary
