Compliance Executive

Our client, a local law firm and CSP is looking for a Compliance Executive to join their dynamic team of its internal compliance function. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Implementing an efficient regulatory compliance program
• Auditing processes, practices and documents
• Directing and planning internal cross-departmental policies and programs whilst empowering staff with the knowledge awareness and good practices of regulatory compliance
• Keeping an eye and stay updated with regulatory and legislative documents
• Screening and approving website content and PR promotions
• Helping and assisting with regulatory audits and annual statutory audits
• Tracking laws and regulations that may impact the firm or the group companies with a view of implementing the necessary changes to internal policies in order to manage and mitigate risk exposures

• An excellent knowledge of Maltese and European Anti Money laundering legislation
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar or related role within Financial Services
• Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn more within the industry
• An excellent verbal and written English is a must
• Ability to work on own initiative

• A Degree or Diploma level of education
