Inspire Foundation in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Tutor to join their team in Gozo on a part-time basis.

Job Role:
The chosen candidate will join the Gozo Centre team for c. 3-6 hours weekly, on an indefinite basis.

The Tutor shall ensure the effective planning and implementation of individual/group sessions and activities according to set standards and criteria. They shall work closely with the Programme Lead, and other professionals to ensure good practice in the service the department provides.  The tutor shall ensure that good quality standards of practice are met and always maintained. 

The Tutor forms part of the interdisciplinary team whereby, working together with other members of staff, they shall take responsibility for carrying out activities as indicated in the Individualised Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or case conference/s concerning the future goals and possibilities of clients/learners.  
 

Requirements:

  • Possess an MQF Level 6 qualification in psychology, occupational therapy, disability studies or in a related field such as social sciences

OR

  • Possess an MQF Level 5 qualification in psychology, occupational therapy, disability studies or related fields such as social sciences & work experience
  • Experience working with children or people with a disability would be considered as an advantage.


Prior to being recruited and throughout the duration of employment, the selected candidates need to satisfy the requirements of the Protection of Minors Act (POMA) together with those of immunisation.
