Production Cleaner

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to work in a meat production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the production area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations. 

Duties includes but are not limited to:

• Clean and sanitise production areas, machinery, equipment, floors, walls, and workstations in accordance with company hygiene procedures;
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the required food safety and quality standards;
• Remove waste and dispose of it correctly following company procedures;
• Replenish cleaning materials and report any shortages or equipment faults;
• Follow all health and safety, food hygiene, and HACCP procedures;
• Maintain accurate cleaning records where required;
• Work closely with the production team;
• Identify and report any hygiene, maintenance, or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Willingness to work in a meat production environment;
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Good organisational and time management skills;
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to perform other tasks when required;
• Currently in Malta with a valid work permit;
• Proficiency in English is a must. Maltese is considered an asset;
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Education and Experience

• Previous cleaning experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is an advantage;
