Housekeeping Attendant

Job Description
Mercury Towers Ltd in Malta, is looking to recruit a Housekeeping Attendant to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Overview:
As Housekeeping Attendant, you are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment according to the set standards, in order to provide guests, clients, and customers with an exceptional experience at Mercury Towers.

Core responsibilities:

• Maintains the overall cleanliness of the residence, public space, and assigned back-of-house areas by cleaning thoroughly as specified in the departmental SOPs
• Maximises job efficiency by maintaining supplies and working equipment as instructed and by adhering to SOPs and training
• Cleans public areas including floors, elevators, hallways, windows, service areas, stairwells, and offices according to the departmental SOPs
• Wear safety protection equipment as provided in line with the department regulations and any local legislative requirements
• Maintain the upkeep of uniform and provided tools given
• Monitor and control supplies, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping
• Respond to complaints, and special requests and take action to ensure guest, client, and customer satisfaction 
• May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects
• Performs other cleaning duties as required.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must have 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in the field or in the hospitality industry.
• Must be customer service driven and detail-oriented.
• Must be a team player and have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
