Executive Housekeeper

Cavalieri Art Hotel in Malta is looking to recruit an Executive Housekeeper to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Scope, Purpose and Objective:
The Executive Housekeeper is to lead the Cavalieri Art Hotel's Housekeeping Department. This is to be done with a comprehensive leadership strategy which can ensure that the Housekeeping Department team can achieve and exceed the company service standards. As a member of the Management Team, you will collaborate with the Hotel Management to understand and implement the best business needs that will ensure the continuous development of a progressive, professional and committed housekeeping environment that supports strategic objectives. All of this must result in impeccable levels of cleanliness and upkeep.
This remit includes continually reviewing housekeeping and laundry processes, and identifying quality, productivity and efficiency within the Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Responsibility of the entire Housekeeping Operation and the delegation of duties within the department.
• Provide strong leadership. Support and motivate all team members to strive for excellence in service and cleanliness.
• Respond to and follow through on guest requests, concerns and problems. Ensure that excellent customer care is the Pride of the Housekeeping Department.
• Maintain or exceed the standards of cleanliness, and monitor all online ratings related to the Hotel's service and cleanliness standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of Guest Rooms, Public Areas, and the Back of the House. Ensure compliance with the Hotel's Standards of Excellence, Health, and sanitation standards, to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Prepare staff work schedules based on present and anticipated occupancy levels. Consistently monitor and control all labour costs, achieving targeted payroll and productivity. Responsible for Recruitment and Selection of Housekeeping staff and conducting performance reviews.
• Provide feedback on areas that might need changes on innovations to practice, procedure and operation with potentially favourable effects on service and quality assurance.
