Animal Feeder & Light Maintenance Person

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as an Animal Feeder & Light Maintenance Person. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and cleanliness of our animals and their living spaces. Your main duties will include feeding, light maintenance tasks, and cleaning of animal housing areas.

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily feedings for all animals according to their specific dietary needs
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of animal housing areas
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing minor damages, and maintaining equipment
- Clean and disinfect animal enclosures, cages, and other living spaces
- Monitor and report any changes in animal behavior or health to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with the handling and restraint of animals when necessary
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures when working with animals and handling cleaning chemicals
- Maintain accurate records of animal feedings and cleaning schedules

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with animals preferred
- Knowledge of animal behaviour and basic care techniques
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as bags of feed or equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and potentially dirty environments
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
