Syndicate Loan Manager

A local bank is currently on the lookout for a Manager that specialises on Syndicated Loans

Duties include: 

• Championing the development of syndicate finance business in line with the banks’ strategic objectives
• Leading and arranging syndicated loans' through efforts in initiating, structuring, risk analysis, underwriting, formulating, syndicating, documentation, negotiating in line with the banks’ risk appetite and regulatory obligations
• Monitoring/ evaluating the European syndicate finance business to be able to develop a pipeline of syndicates in line with the banks syndicate loan framework
• Establish a working relationship with the key European banks involved in the European syndicate market
• Demonstrating an understanding of the syndicate loan documentation and processes allowing to identify gaps and formulate appropriate solutions to align lending with the banks risk appetite and regulatory obligations
• Promoting and coordinating syndicated loans' internally together with providing product improvements whilst actively exploring new financial products and markets
• Handling matters and issues in relation to syndicate loan’s in the context of the banks’ strategic planning, risk management and AFC policies and procedures, and internal relevant regulatory rules. 

• A minimum of 3 years experience business and/or corporate finance ideally in banking
• Have working knowledge of the European syndicated loan market
• Possess experience in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and / or Sustainability linked loans
• Fluency in both written and spoken English. German or French would be considered an asset

• Bachelor's Degree (MQF 6 or higher) in Finance or in a related field
