Banking Specialist

Deriv (Europe) Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Banking Specialist to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
As Banking Specialist at Deriv, you will be key in building and maintaining relationships with banks and third-party service providers. We will rely on you to evaluate the bank’s policies and procedures to ensure they do not violate our policies before signing them on.  This position will report to the Banking Team Lead.

Your challenges:

• Identify new opportunities to expand our banking relationships and other service providers through market research.
• Meet banks and service providers to build and enhance business relationships.
• Handle forms and due diligence documentation as required to open new accounts while onboarding business partners. 
• Work closely with existing service providers and banks with regard to required updated information and updated due diligence.
• Conduct follow-ups, handle administrative maintenance activities, and manage updates to accounts with service providers.
• Monitor service providers and flag potential issues.
• Store all contract documents in line with the company procedures.
• Assist in audits.
• Support ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

• A university degree in a relevant field
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other major office suites
• Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to work with all levels of personnel with a high degree of integrity and maturity
• Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
• Possess a can-do attitude with an eagerness to learn and develop your career
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
