Pharmacist (Animal care)

Andrews Feeds Malta (LTD) is looking for a qualified Pharmacist (Animal care) to provide professional services on a full/part-time basis.

Job Role:
The ideal candidate is to ensure the smooth running of both the retail and wholesale pharmacy business.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Be the Responsible Person responsible for Pharmacovigilance of the veterinary medicinal products (VMPs) and medicated feed mixes, as required by article 74 of Directive 2001/82/EC
• Registration and yearly renewals of VMPs with the Malta Government Veterinary Medicines Section and the submission of other regulatory documents, such as marketing post-approval variations and PSURs
• Ensuring that the wholesale and retail pharmacy license conditions and obligations are adhered to and ensuring that all EU regulatory directives are properly followed
• Dispensing medications that have been prescribed, and providing consultations on dosage, side effects and withdrawal periods
• Supervising, training and managing pharmacy employees
• Contributing to the continuous development and improvement of quality systems, processes and procedures
• Keeping up to date with changes in regulatory requirements and providing guidance to the company on how to comply with these changes
• Liaising with the company's Veterinary surgeon and nutritionist in order to provide the best service to the clients
• Stock ordering and pricing of VMPs and Veterinary equipment
• The continuous search for new, unique and innovative veterinary medicine and equipment to introduce into the Maltese market
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment for both the retail and the wholesale pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Prospective candidates should:
