Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Assistant to support their Retail Operations function. This position is primarily based in the office; however, there will be occasions where on-site support is required at retail locations, including some weekend work. Experience within a retail environment would be highly beneficial.

The Main Responsibilities include: 

  • Deliver day-to-day administrative support to the Retail Operations team, including maintaining records, managing documentation, and processing information accurately.
  • Organise and manage calendars, meetings, and appointments to ensure smooth coordination across the team.
  • Prepare and compile operational reports, presentations, and supporting materials as required.
  • Respond to queries from retail stores and act as a liaison between store teams and central operations.
  • Monitor, update, and maintain inventory data and other operational databases.
  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of retail initiatives, events, and promotions, including those scheduled on weekends.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks to support the effective running of retail operations.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday 08.00-16.30 (required to work a few hours on Saturday every few weeks) 

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy working environment.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including availability for weekend support when needed.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and capable of managing changing operational demands.

Education and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Previous exposure to the retail sector is considered an advantage.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, alongside other standard office systems.
