Your Impact & Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the Tax Compliance & Advisory function, driving quality, consistency, and best practice
• Lead the firm’s direct taxation services, with particular focus on corporate and individual income tax compliance and advisory
• Review and oversee corporate and individual tax returns, including VAT filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Provide high-level tax advisory services, with a strong emphasis on international tax matters, cross-border structuring, and tax-efficient planning
• Advise clients on double taxation issues, international tax exposure, and evolving global tax frameworks
• Lead, mentor, and develop the tax team, fostering technical excellence and professional growth
• Manage and expand a varied portfolio of local and international clients, acting as a trusted advisor on both domestic and international tax matters

Requirements

• Confident communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships

Education and Experience

• 5 years’ solid experience in Maltese tax compliance and advisory
• A recognised professional qualification (CPA, Master’s in Tax, ADIT, or equivalent)
• Strong technical command of the Malta Income Tax Act and VAT Act
