Senior Auditor

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Auditor to join their Audit department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient audits while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise junior auditors, providing guidance and reviewing their work.
• Complete small audits independently and support larger engagements alongside Audit Managers.
• Plan and execute audits across various industries, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Liaise directly with clients, maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Stay updated on audit technology, standards, and firm procedures.
• Contribute to team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently residing in Malta.
• ACCA qualification or a recognized degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in auditing (Big 4 experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GAPSME, IFRS, and International Auditing Standards.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1/C2); knowledge of Maltese or German is an asset.
• Full-time availability (Monday - Friday, 40 hours).
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with a collaborative attitude.
