Senior Accountant

Our client, a Non-Profit Organisation, is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to form part of their team of professionals. Reporting to the board and CEO, the chosen candidate will be responsible for:   

• Maintain accounting policies and procedures within the company 
• Issuing timely financial statements including P&L and cashflow statements 
• Managing the production of annual budgeting and forecasting  
• Calculation of variances from budget and reporting any issues to management  
• Providing a system of management cost reports 
• Liasing with financial authorities and legal authorities  
• Overseeing payroll and ensuring accuracy 
• Overseeing the operations of the Finance Department 

• At least 3 years of previous experience within an accounting position
• Able to work on own initiative
• Motivated and a team player
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Good understanding in designing and implementing internal control systems

• Part/Fully Qualified through ACCA
