Our client, a Non-Profit Organisation, is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to form part of their team of professionals. Reporting to the board and CEO, the chosen candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintain accounting policies and procedures within the company
- Issuing timely financial statements including P&L and cashflow statements
- Managing the production of annual budgeting and forecasting
- Calculation of variances from budget and reporting any issues to management
- Providing a system of management cost reports
- Liasing with financial authorities and legal authorities
- Overseeing payroll and ensuring accuracy
- Overseeing the operations of the Finance Department
- At least 3 years of previous experience within an accounting position
- Able to work on own initiative
- Motivated and a team player
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Good understanding in designing and implementing internal control systems
- Part/Fully Qualified through ACCA
- Hybrid Working / Flexi-time
