Junior Financial Business Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity in the shipping industry that has opened. Our client is looking to recruit a Junior Financial Business Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will report to the COO and be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the performance of cargo, bunker and chartering operations
• Preparation of accounting, vessel utilisation and budget reporting 
• Monitoring of expenses to ensure that they are in accordance with budget allocations
• Create performance reports for the utilisation of the Group’s vessels 
• Analyse the costs involved in the utilisation of the Group’s vessels 
• Carry out market research and analysis
• Monitor sales performance
• To build the CRM function of the Group 

• 3 to 5 years relevant working experience
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suites
• Great attention for detail
• Great communication abilities both verbally and in writing in English
• Previous Maritime experience will be considered a benefit
