Junior Finance Assistant

Our client is seeking a Junior Finance Assistant to join their dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for finance. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the preparation of financial reports.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice verification, data entry, and monthly bank and expense reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance and accessibility, and support the preparation of financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Assist with tracking and reviewing employee expense claims, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Provide general administrative assistance to the finance team, including managing correspondence, preparing documents, and coordinating meetings.
• Collaborate with senior team members in preparing year-end reports and audits, while ensuring all financial documentation meets internal and external audit requirements.

• Demonstrated numerical, analytical, and organizational abilities, with a capacity to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. Previous experience or an internship in a finance-related role is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A motivated, team-oriented individual with a strong willingness to learn, excellent communication abilities, and a professional attitude.

• A-Level qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required, with a diploma or degree being advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and an openness to learning financial software are essential.
