Junior Accountant
Our client within the Insurance Industry is looking for a Junior Accountant to join the team
Responsibilities;
- Prepares and reconciles monthly management accounts in line with IFRS 17, including financial statements and supporting notes.
- Assists auditors during annual audits and helps with the preparation of financial statements.
- Prepares VAT returns, recap statements, and related notices.
- Produces monthly cash flow forecasts and processes payment runs.
- Issues client invoices and ensures accurate data entry in accounting systems.
- Submits required financial reports to regulatory authorities within set deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous local experience in a similar role
- Candidates with Insurance experience will be given preference
Education and Experience
- ACCA qualified
