Our client, within the Healthcare Industry is looking to recruit an accounts officer to join their growing team.
Main responsibilities :
Accurately process and record all financial transactions, including income, expenditure, supplier invoices, receipts, and payments.
Ensure transactions are correctly allocated to the relevant cost centres and budget lines across the organisation’s three sites.
Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records within the accounting system.
Perform regular bank reconciliations for all organisational accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
Reconcile supplier, customer, and other control accounts, ensuring outstanding balances are monitored and addressed in a timely manner.
Assist with month-end reconciliation processes to support accurate financial reporting.
Maintain well-organised financial records and supporting documentation in line with audit and compliance requirements.
Process supplier invoices and arrange payments in accordance with agreed payment terms.
Raise customer invoices, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue accounts where necessary.
Support the finance team with general administrative and accounting duties as required.
Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure financial information is submitted accurately and on time.
Maintain records that facilitate effective site-specific financial monitoring and reporting.
Provide support and guidance to staff on finance-related procedures when required.
Requirements
Previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration role.
Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
