Junior Accountant

Our client in the Shipping and Transport Industry is looking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts 
• Preparing VAT returns 
• Assisting the Group Head of Finance in compliance forms 
• Assisting with bank applications forms 
• Assisting in the audit process 
• Supporting the team with day to day duties 

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of local experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Maltese

• Actively studying or final stages of ACCA or equivalent
