Junior Accountant

Our client within the Manufacturing industry is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their growing team. 

Duties include:

• Assisting in the production of timely and accurate financial reporting
• Performing cash and bank reconciliations
• Performing some credit control duties
• Be responsible for the posting of journals in the accounting software tool and maintaining accurate accounting records
• Assist in testing and implementation of a new accounting software
• Perform account reconciliations mainly relating to debtors and creditors
• Assist during the audits for the Malta registered entities
• Preparing periodical and ad hoc reports as may be required from time to time

• At least 1 year accounting experience
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Fluent use of Microsoft Excel
• Be proactive and motivated to learn
• Eye for detail
• An energetic and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines in a fast past environment

• Initial stages of ACCA or equivalent
