Investment & Finance Analyst

Our client, an International Organisation within the investment sector, is seeking to recruit an Investment & Finance Analyst to join their expanding team. The role involves working closely with the Head of New Business, alongside a team of analysts.

Responsibilities include:

Financial Reporting:

• Handling client invoices and over due payments 
• Managing payment of invoices 
• Supporting in the preparation of management accounts 
• Preparing monthly financials 
• Preparing actual to budget variance analysis
• Updating the forecast module

Portfolio Management:

• Handling an ongoing portfolio  
• Analysing the client collateral reporting and providing recommendations on variances, observations and changes 
• Reviewing and analysing the client's financial reporting (management accounts & cash flow forecast) including client trading performance 
• Handling covenant reporting and calculations 
• Preparing monthly portfolio update reports for presentation
• Performing checks on samples to audit documentation 
• Supporting with onboarding of new clients 
• Preparing collateral and financial monitoring templates for new clients 

Risk Operations:

• Administration of clients bank accounts 
• Preparing borrowing base reports
• Handling source of funding process 
• Investigating KYC and AML requirements 
• Assisting with updating internal processes 

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role locally
• Experience in transaction, lending, or advisory would be an asset

Education and Experience

• Qualifications in ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent
