Internal Auditor Senior

Our client is seeking to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor, who will be responsible for executing internal audits with a primary focus on AML and Compliance domains for MFSA or MGA supervised entities in Malta. This role involves client-facing activities, audit execution, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and directives.

Duties include: 

• Perform internal audits on AML and compliance frameworks.
• Engage directly with clients during audit processes.
• Prepare audit reports and document findings accurately.
• Support the development of recommendations for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with AML Directive, local regulatory requirements, and IIA Standards.
• Utilize AI-based tools to enhance audit efficiency.

Requirements

• Familiarity or previous experience using Scoro.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in internal auditing, AML, or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of AML Directive and compliance regulation
• CIA certification is an asset.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English
