Financial Controller
Our client, operating within the manufacturing industry is seeking to recruit a Financial Controller. The selected candidate will be managing a small team and have the following responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day to day activities of the Finance department
- Ensure the company's finance function is organized and efficient
- Preparing financial and management reports
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
- Maintaining of financial ledgers and accounting processes
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Overseeing the payroll process
- Preparing and submitting of VAT returns.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Possess excellent intrapersonal skills
- Fluency in both verbal and written Maltese and English
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fully qualified and locally warranted accountant
