Financial Controller

A highly reputable client of ours, an investment group specialising in the energy sector, is currently looking to onboard a Financial Controller to join their team of professionals:

Duties:

• Posting of sales, purchases and nominal ledgers
• Maintaining the assigned portfolio entities' accounts up-to-date at all times
• Assisting in the preparation of regular Group consolidation
• Set-up of a Group Reporting Package
• Month-end and year-end reconciliations
• Inter-company balances and transactions reconciliations
• Preparation of financial statements for audit, and dealing with audit queries
• Reconciliation and Postings of Loan Agreements
• Manage and maintain the intercompany invoicing process and reconciliation
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, best practices, standards, and regulations
• Dealing with multinational colleagues located in other locations within Europe

• Must have at least 3 years post-graduation work experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Tools, namely Excel
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

• Must be in posession of a degree in accountancy or be ACCA qualified
