Financial Controller

Our Client is seeking to recruit a Financial Controller who can create a strong foundation of good practices, processes, and controls to aid them to get ready for growth.

Responsabilties include;

• Overseeing book-keeping, including raising sales invoices, credit control
• Fulfilling treasury function and monitoring cash flows
• Improving our existing Finance processes, particularly on sales invoicing
• Producing monthly consolidated management accounts
• Producing annual statutory accounts
• Producing payroll and related tax submissions such as N.I. and VAT
• Liaising with tax and legal advisors as required
• Working closely with the CEO and co-founders to ensure we have regular visibility of our financial dashboard (including actual performance versus budget) to support decision making and planning
• Producing analytics to support strategic choices, as and when required
• Producing financial projections to support valuation and raising of capital
•  Actively participating in the onboarding of new clients to ensure set up is inplace for invoicing

The role will be full time although we may consider a flexible reduced hours alternative. For the right candidate, this role offers significant potential to grow as
