Financial Accountant

Our client a large growing company is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and review financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare tax filings, regulatory reports, and other required submissions.
• Maintain accounting records and process routine financial adjustments.
• Support monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Assist with audits by providing financial information and documentation.
• Help prepare management reports and financial analysis.
• Contribute to improving finance processes and internal controls.
• Work with different teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and legal requirements.

Requirements

• Previous local experience in financial accounting or similar role.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Experience with VAT reporting, reconciliations, and statutory submissions.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
