Experienced Accounts Executive

Job Type: Full-time only working from offices

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting various accounting and other related functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate ledger entries
• Assist in preparing financial reports
• Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Support quarterly and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain organized financial files and documentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Clerk or in a similar role (3+ years preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software (we work with Shireburn, experience working with SFM will be considered an asset)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
