Finance Manager

A client of ours specialising in the Industrial Goods and Services industry is looking to onboard a Finance Manager:

Duties:

• Assist the finance team and Management in setting departmental plans and objectives
• Support in developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures
• Process and verify business transaction details
• Manage general ledgers, including account analysis and journal entries
• Reconciles bank accounts, statements, and records, taking corrective actions when necessary
• Assist in preparing financial statements and VAT returns
• Provider assistance with budgeting processes and cash flow management
• Assist with financial analysis as required
• Provide guidance to Finance and Accounts clerical personnel
• Ensure timely payment of creditors and invoicing of debtors
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures outlined in company guidelines
• Cultivate effective relationships with external partners, clients, and suppliers
• Offer recommendations for departmental process improvements and efficiencies
• Performs other duties as required

Requirements

• Experience working in a similar role and managing a team
• Must have excellent communication skills in English and ideally in Maltese
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Education and Experience

• Must be ACCA qualified, or at the final stages of being so
