Finance Executive

Our client within the aviation Industry is looking to recruit a Finance Executive to join their team.

Main responsibilities include :

• Provide daily support to the finance team by recording transaction journals.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger management.
• Assist the finance team with data entry as required.
• Supervise finance officers and junior finance staff.
• Delegate tasks and projects to members of the finance team.
• Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded in the general ledger.
• Perform routine ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
• Review team members’ journal entries for accuracy.
• Monitor cash flows and manage petty cash transactions.
• Assist in preparing detailed departmental budgets and forecasts.
• Support month-end and year-end audit and closing procedures.

• 4 Years of previous experience working in a similar role
• Proficient in use of Office 365 specifically, Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English

• A tertiary level of education in Accounting or in the process of obtaining an ACCA qualification
