Finance Executive

Our client, operating within the energy industry is seeking to recruit a Finance Executive to join their Finance team. The selected person will have the following responsibilities:
- Processing and issuing of invoices
- Maintaining the accounting ledgers and liaising with suppliers where necessary
- Managing and controlling petty cash and updating cash flow
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Overseeing the monthly payments process
- Assisting in the annual statutory audit process
- Participating in meetings and raising suggestions for the improvement of the team
- Other ad-hoc duties which may be required from time to time
- Previous experience in a similar role locally
- Hold excellent intrapersonal skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft office tools
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Partly qualified through ACCA
- Parking
