Finance Director

A client of ours, specialised in the hospitality and retail sectors, is looking to onboard a Finance Director to join their growing team:

Duties:

• Responsible for the overall day-to-day duties related to the accounts department
• Overseeing payroll and related Final Settlement Systems submissions
• Preparing monthly management accounts including income statements, balance sheets, cashflow reporting and key performance indicators
• Managing cash flow and process supplier payments, as well as monitoring month-end closure procedures and journal entries
• Developing and preparing annual budgets and forecasts
• Liaising with banking and government officials, and various stakeholders as required
• Conducting financial analysis and accurate reports 
• Overview of the quarterly VAT computations and submission of VAT, OSS, Recapitulative & Eco-MTA returns
• Liaising with external auditors during the audit process
• Preparation and submission of local Income tax Returns
• Ensuring adherence to existing internal controls and implementation system to strengthen financial and non-financial processes, including, but not limited to, systems integrations
• Implementing financial and non-financial procedures and identifying areas of improvement where necessary

• Experience within the manufacturing, retail and hospitality will be considered an asset
• Must have a minimum 3 years' experience working in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must
• Ability to motivate, lead and develop a finance team

• Fully qualified ACCA qualified and locally warranted
