Purpose: To support the Accounts department by performing a variety of Accounting tasks for IELS Limited and its subsidiaries.
Responsibilities and tasks include:
1. Accounts Payables: processing of bills from suppliers and ensuring that they are in the right classification and posted to the appropriate accounts; actively participating in reconciliations with suppliers; preparation of payments;
2. Accounts Receivables: preparing deposit slips when needed; assist in the upkeep of Debtor accounts; and issuing statements to Debtors on a weekly basis;
3. General Ledger: processing of month-end transactions and other General Ledger postings that are required;
4. Filing of all Accounting department documents;
5. Supporting the Accounts team in the preparation of management financial statements and VAT returns;
6. Raising any invoice, receipt, and payment concerns with senior;
7. Keeping and maintaining all Supplier invoicing files up to date and in a confidential manner;
8. Cashing in of cash received from other departments, and undertake regular float checks;
9. Stock taking of Leisure activity tickets and bookshop;
10. Reconciliations of department accounts;
11. To carry out any other duties as may be reasonably assigned by your superiors
