Deputy Chief Financial Officer

Our client is an established name in the hospitality industry. As they are growing, they would like to engage an Assistant to the Chief Finance Officer to assist the Chief Financial Officer in the day to day running of the department

The Role

• You will assist the CFO with the day to day operations within the finance department
• Ensure that all finance tasks within the department are concluded within established deadlines and in line with all policies and procedures
• Supervise Payroll and Cost Control
• Ensure that all accounting tasks meet all regulatory requirements and reported on time.  In addition, you will ensure that audit requirements are always met
• You will lead the team to reach the necessary KPI's 
• Empower staff members to take decisions within limits of authority assigned
• You will spearhead the yearly budget preparation with other department heads and the CFO
• You will actively promote continious improvement processe to improve all functions within the group
• Ensure that all reporting is done on time as required by the group and regulator

• You will have proven experience leading a finance team
• You will preferably have worked in the hospitality industry
• Have strong leadership skills
• Be assertive yet approachable
• Can communicate across all levels
• Be a fully qualified, warranted accountant
