Credit Control Clerk

Kencar Group of Companies in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Credit Control Clerk to join their team on a full-time basis.

Position Description

Kencar Group of Companies is seeking a technically sound person to fill the position of a Credit Control Clerk to join a young growing team.

Department: Accounts Department

Primary Purpose:

The main aim of the Credit Control Clerk is to manage debtors and be responsible for chasing payments.

Main Duties (KPIs):

• Debtors’ collection
• Post and allocate receipts
• Generation and sending of reminders and statements
• Liaison with sales and other Company employees to resolve outstanding queries
• Reconciliations of debtor accounts and solving queries related to outstanding invoices
• File, maintain records and reports pertinent to credit control operations
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the Accounting department.

Requisites:

• Proficiency in commonly-used general and accounting software packages, including spreadsheet and word processing software
• Ability to collaborate with others, but also independently when required
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Self motivated and capable of working independently on multiple tasks under minimal supervision
• Excellent organisational and administration skills.
