We are looking for a diligent and organised Construction Storekeeper to manage inventory and ensure the smooth operation of our construction site supplies. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining stock levels and supporting the project team with timely deliveries.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment on-site.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to manage orders and deliveries.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on inventory levels and usage trends.
- Support the project team by providing timely access to materials and tools as required.
- Proven experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, with relevant certification.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
