Our client, a leading CSP is seeking to recruit a Client Accounting Team leader to join their growing team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Managing and supporting the junior members of the team whilst overseeing their work
Setting up regular meetings with the team in order to monitor the progress of their individual portfolios as well as get their general feedback which may arise
Act as the main point of reference within the team and assist in solving technical queries
Responsible for a portfolio of clients and liaising with the auditors when necessary whilst ensuring deadlines are being maintained
Preparing and submitting of VAT Returns of their own portfolio of clients
Liaising closely with the management team to ensure the clients' requirements are being met from an accounting perspective
Identifying areas which the team may require training in whilst being responsible for the preparation and delivery of such training
Assisting management with writing articles about relevant matters to be published on the company website
Supporting with the securing of new business whilst assisting potential clients with information on the services offered across the organization
Assisting in the performance appraisal of the team
Any other duty which may be required from time to time
Skill-sets and Requirements
A minimum two years experience in a similar role within client accounting
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and written
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Highly organized, meticulous with the ability to prioritize
Possess excellent intrapersonal skills
Education & Experience
Possess an Accounting Degree or have fully completed ACCA
