A key client of ours specialising in the Financial Sector is currently looking to onboard a Client Accounting Manager to join their team of professionals:
Duties:
Preparation of Financial Statements and other ad hoc Management Accounts under GAPSME or IFRS, and analysis of variances
Preparation and submission of applications with CFR; Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
Provide clients with accounting services and consultancy both onsite and from the office
Manage an accounting team, while training, mentoring and assisting junior staff
Facilitate communication between clients and the team
Work in liaison with external auditors
Ensure that any AML risk linked to clients within the team is reported internally to the MLRO
Conduct employee performance reviews
Work closely with top management to make sure that staff are performing efficiently and in line with the group procedures
Participate in internal training sessions held for staff
Skill-sets and Requirements
Must have 4-5 years’ experience in the respective field at Senior Level (and currently in a Supervisor / Assistant Manager / Manager position)
Possess excellent managerial and people skills
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Maltese
