A client of ours specializing in the Financial sector is looking to onboard a Client Accountant to join their team. The selected candidate will be managing a Portfolio of both local and international clients.
Main Responsibilities include :
Managing a diverse client portfolio resulting in high quality service delivery and within agreed timeframes as agreed with our clients.
Overseeing the work relating to bookkeeping, reconciliations, preparation of periodic management accounts.
Submission of VAT and Tax returns.
Providing guidance and feedback to respective team members.
Participate in the planning and coordinating of team resources to ensure optimum allocation and utilisation of resources.
Optimise all opportunities for efficiency gains resulting from the streamlining of business processes across client files supported by the utilisation of automation and other process improvements tools.
Timely preparation of all relevant billing matters and ensuring that all assignments are delivered within appropriate budget.
Other related ad hoc work required as prepared by the team members.
Skill-sets and Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working within a similar outsourcing environment
Strong technical knowledge
Proven experience with recognised accounting packages and Microsoft Excel
Fluency in both written and spoken English
Any experience of managing a team would be considered an asset
Ability to work on own initiative whilst also guiding other team members
