Chief Financial Officer

A highly reputable client of ours specialising in the Education sector is currently looking to onboard a Chief Financial Officer to join their team of professionals:

Duties:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to improve profitability and drive sustainable growth.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and the Board of Directors.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Lead financial risk management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Manage global tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to international tax regulations and optimising tax strategies to minimise the Company's tax liabilities.
• Lead refinancing initiatives to optimise capital structure, manage debt obligations, and secure favourable financing terms for the Company's operations.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, comprised of members based in various jurisdictions, to achieve departmental goals.

• Extensive experience in managing relationships with board members, executive teams, banks, investors, and other external stakeholders.
• Track record of managing financial operations across multiple sites and international locations.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand market dynamics, identify growth opportunities, and make sound financial decisions.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Demonstrated experience in implementing financial strategies that drive profitability and enhance financial performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
• A professional certification (e.g., ACCA/CIMA, ACA or CPA) will be considered highly desirable.
