Audit Manager

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will lead and manage audit engagements, oversee a team of auditors, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements while providing valuable insights to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met and resources allocated efficiently.
• Liaise with clients to gather documentation, maintain strong relationships, and support client satisfaction.
• Supervise and mentor audit teams, providing feedback and coaching as required.
• Review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize audit technology and standard software to achieve engagement targets.
• Attend meetings with clients, audit teams, and directors as needed.
• Stay up to date with the firms services and recommend improvements or value-adding initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently residing in Malta.
• ACCA qualification or recognized degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive audit experience, with managerial or supervisory experience preferred; Big 4 background is a plus.
• Proficiency in GAPSME, IFRS, and International Auditing Standards.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1+).
• Full-time availability (Monday - Friday, 40 hours).
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with a collaborative mindset.
