Robert Cassar in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Audit Junior/Audit Senior to join their team on a full-time basis.
Audit Junior:
Responsibilities:
- Assist audit seniors and managers in the preparation of statutory audits;
- Maintaining good client relationships.
- Candidates must have at least 1-2 years’ experience in an accounting environment;
- Applicants must be in the initial stages of ACCA/ACA. Applicants in possession of A Level in Accounting or its equivalent will also be considered;
- Proficiency in Excel and technical use.
Skills:
- Pro-active, organized, and self-motivated;
- Ability to work within a team;
- Good communication skills in both English and Maltese.
Audit Senior:
Responsibilities:
- Performing audit engagements from planning to completion within the stipulated timeframes under the supervision of the Audit Manager;
- Drafting of financial statements under GAPSME and IFRSs;
- Maintaining good client relationships.
- Candidates must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in an accounting and audit environment;
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or ACCA/ACA. Applicants in the final stages of ACCA/ACA will also be considered;
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP and IFRS experience.
Skills:
- Pro-active, organized, and self-motivated;
- Ability to work with a team;
- Ability to prioritise and deliver assignments within specified time frames;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
