Assistant Financial Controller

Our client, within the hospitality industry, is looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the chosen candidate will be responsible for: 

• Debtors and creditors control
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns 
• Reviewing of accruals and prepayments 
• Preparing monthly Trial Balance and assisting up to Management Accounts prior to the review of the Financial Controller 
• Supervising and monitoring the work of the Finance Department
• Be the first point of contact for external auditors
