Assistant Accountant (Gozo based)
Our client, operating within the manufacturing industry is seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Monitoring sales and purchase interfaces
- Handling invoice queries
- Running of payments as required
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Processing of invoices
- Posting of expenses and petty cash
- Preparing of VAT returns
- Running ERP costings updates
- Assisting with month end, quarterly and end of year reviews and reporting
- Posting of stock, accruals and prepayments
- NSO reporting
- Minimum two years experience in a similar role
- Hold excellent intrapersonal skills
- Meticulous with an eye for detail
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
- Candidates holding an accounting qualification will be given preference
