Our client, operating within the aviation industry is seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer to join their growing Finance team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Recording and managing daily financial transactions which includes payables and receivables
Allocating and posting of financial data in an accurate and timely manner
Processing of invoices, expenses and payment requests
Reconciling of bank statements and financial discrepancies
Preparing and assisting in monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
Assisting with VAT and Tax reporting
Any other duty which may be required from time to time
Skill-sets and Requirements
Minimum three years working in a similar role
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
Meticulous with the ability to work on own initiative
Hold excellent intrapersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Maltese
Education & Experience
A minimum O level in Accounts in a must. Candidates in the initial stages of ACCA or planning to start ACCA will be given preference
