Accounts Officer

Our client, operating within the aviation industry is seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer to join their growing Finance team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Recording and managing daily financial transactions which includes payables and receivables 
• Allocating and posting of financial data in an accurate and timely manner
• Processing of invoices, expenses and payment requests
• Reconciling of bank statements and financial discrepancies
• Preparing and assisting in monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Assisting with VAT and Tax reporting
• Any other duty which may be required from time to time

• Minimum three years working in a similar role
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Meticulous with the ability to work on own initiative
• Hold excellent intrapersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Maltese

• A minimum O level in Accounts in a must. Candidates in the initial stages of ACCA or planning to start ACCA will be given preference
