Accounts Executive

Job Description
Corinthia Hotel St. George's Bay in Malta is seeking to recruit an ambitious, determined, and highly motivated Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. The selected candidate will report directly to the Director of Finance and will be performing duties at the Corinthia Hotel St. George’s Bay.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing support to the various functions within the Finance team
• Helping with reconciliations of balance sheet and revenue in addition to investigating anomalies
• Update necessary paperwork in preparation for the audit
• Reconciliation of credit cards and attending to any inquiries related to banks
• In charge of all intra-group cross-charges within the hotel
• Implementing the checks for the Corinthia Internal Audit
• Monitoring of Pay Master accounts
• Liaising closely with the debt collector
• Assisting the team in analyzing data and compiling reports
• Other generic accounts and administrative duties.

Entry Requirements:

• Have an Advanced Level qualification in Accounts or similar
• Experience using the Fidelio Opera system would be considered an asset
• Be logical, accurate, and able to multi-task and can work with minimum supervision
• Have previous experience in a similar position
• Be fluent in English, with excellent communication skills
• Have a pleasant personality and professional disposition.
