Accounts Clerk

Our client, a well-established company within the catering industry, is currently seeking an Accounts Clerk to join their team. They are looking for someone who is not only detail-oriented and reliable, but also ambitious, eager to learn, and an effective communicator. Responsibilities :

• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other financial records
• Process invoices, record payments, and monitor company expenses
• Recalculate and verify invoices for accuracy
• Liaise with suppliers to clarify invoice details and resolve discrepancies
• Check and match purchase orders with invoices
• Assist in processing payments to creditors and follow up with debtors
• Ensure all financial documentation is filed and maintained in an orderly manner
• Support the finance team with day-to-day administrative tasks as needed

• Be fluent in Maltese & English
• A minimum of 12 months working experience locally in a similar role.
• Accounts knowledge.
