Accounts Clerk

Our client within the retail and distributing industry is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• End of day reconciliation including cash control and the Z reading reviewing of retail stores
• The issuing of vouchers and posting in the accounting system
• Weekly posting of EPOS charges for all local retail business and reconciling and posting of balances to the statements accordingly
• Filing of accounting documentation
• Cross checking store deposits with bank statements on a weekly basis and ensuring deposits are being reconciled
• Handling of petty cash reconciliations and preparing weekly store coin orders
• Any other duties which might be assigned by the supervisor
